To vaccinate, or not to vaccinate: How DataViz can help
This dissertation project, titled ‘Visualising Uncertainty of Vaccine Data’ employed advanced visualisation techniques to visualise the effectiveness and safety of the herpes zoster vaccine, along with its associated uncertainty. Two visualisation formats – static and interactive – were developed and evaluated through user participation to assess their effectiveness and their influence on people’s intentions to get vaccinated. This exhibit will present both formats to School visitors, and invite them to discuss uncertainty in health-related decisions.
