An interactive display showing students coursework who are undertaking the ‘Interactive Hardware & Software’ module. Students were asked to imagine a local museum had commissioned them to create a tangible interactive experience for the public for an exhibition titled ’Connecting with Environmental Sustainability’. The museum asked that exhibits avoided interactions that were mainly screen-based and focus on diverse interactive sensory experiences, particularly focusing on tactile and physical means of communicating stories and data related to climate change and environmental sustainability. Students used digital fabrication (3D printers & laser cutters) and Arduino microcontrollers to create their interactive displays.
