Digital Inclusion in Later Life: Generation of Practice Resources for Older Adults

Older adults often face more uncertainty when using digital services, especially in multi-step tasks such as buying train tickets or paying for parking. The lack of opportunities to practise makes these tasks more challenging. The aim of this project was to produce digital practice resources for older adults so that they can familiarise themselves with digital services and expected outcomes at their own pace and leisure. We have developed a generic tool that takes a specification of a digital service and produces a practice interface with an accessible layout, navigation options, controls and progress-tracking.
